Grilling Safety 101

As spring arrives, so does the desire to grill for every dinner and cookout your family hosts. When grilling there are several ways that it can create a danger for your home and you. SERVPRO® of Pulaski and Laurel Counties wants you to stay safe this spring and summer. Here are a few tips to make sure you are safe when grilling up some delicious meals. 

• Make sure your grill has no leaks 
• Make sure your grill is on a level surface 
• Always clean your grill after each use 
• Do not wear loose or draping clothing 
• Keep your grill several feet away from your home 
• Always have someone keeping an eye on the grill at all times 

Grilling season is supposed to be fun. Follow these tips to keep your home and family safe this summer.
